Great article. I didnt agree with a couple of riffs, like 'requires the work of legions of people to mine for the rare earth metals, get the cobalt out of lakes' ...i think mining robots will do that.

Been playing with udio, currently the top text to music system. one conclusion is rather than get addicted to the pretty amazing pastiches it does, one should pursue the outer limits of sound and music: stuff thats got something different to anything you've heard before. The model is like DNA: there are infinite combinations which havent been tried. Getting some good results with this approach.
